He walked and walked,
Reached halfway across the wooden bridge.
Wooden bridge where a few had crossed and lived.
Shallow waters called his feet to cool below.
Shallow waters befriended him as he went along.
But his feet were cooled by the breeze.
But his feet stayed
As strangers to the path he don’t own.
The old path haggled and haggled,
But the new prophesied and bribed nothing.
He walked and walked,
Reached a few more steps before the end.
He thanked the bridge
Where a few had crossed and lived.
And at the end he began.
And the prophesy came true.
