Drink me.
Deep red and cloudy.

I am the blood of hardwork.
I am your man for the fiestas
or your neighbor’s wedding.

Drink me while I’m young.
Pour me into an Old Fashioned glass.
Mildy sweet and intoxicating.

Taste me on your lips and tongue,
and I’ll leave a bittersweet
memory deep into your throat.

Wait for me for a bit longer,
and come drink me
when you’re a year older.
I am the man for your birthday—
or your death.

Drink me.
Deep orange and clearer.
Sing with the strums of your guitar.
Are you brave, young woman?
Then, have no chaser!

Lavish and smooth.
Taste me on your lips and tongue,
and let me bring warmth
down to your heart—
or to the mind.

Sss.
Ahh.
