Pink roses lulled you into sleep
In the scent of honey and vanilla,
Adrift on a million fallen petals,
To search the gates of heaven.

Muted hearts and cotton candy skies,
Awaiting the sweet summer rain
In the silence of midnight whispers,
To shout before the sunset ends.

Warm waves rolled into the sands
In colors of spilled mango lemonade,
Dream of its zesty tang at dusk,
To drown into the warmth of the sun.

Dance in the flames of the night
In the colors of burning driftwood,
Slumber by sound of crackling embers,
To dip old memories in fire.
